We look forward to welcoming you to Snelling Farm this summer, but due to COVID-19 it will not be business as usual.
Social distancing
- We have incredibly spacious fields, whilst we cannot mark out pitches, there will be lots of space for you to spread out. Tents must be at least 6 meters apart. Anyone pitching too close to another booking will be asked to move their tent.
- Please do not cram round the edges of the field, please use the middle to maximize social distancing and space.
- There will be social distancing markers at the facilities. Please stay 2m away from other campers/staff at all times.
- We encourage you to follow the social distancing guidelines set out by the Government in respect to meeting and socialising with other family/households you are coming with. We cannot accept group bookings for more than 2 households at a time.
- If your home town/area is in localised lock down or in a tier which advises not to travel to a lower tier, do not travel to Dorset. We have your address and you will be turned away.
- No day visitors will be allowed to visit the camping field.
- Parents are responsible for their children whilst on site.
- If they are old enough to use the facility blocks unaccompanied please ensure they understand following the social distancing markers and hand santizing procedures for their safety and for others using the blocks at the same time.
- Please wash/sanitize your hands regularly and before and after using any facilities/taps/bins.
- Showers/toilets/ washing up areas will be open. Be prepared to queue for social distancing reasons. Please read and observe any signs you see.
- No teeth brushing at any sinks, anyone spotted doing this will be asked to leave the site.
- There will be hand sanitiser points and soap provided, feel free to also bring your own and a mask.
- We have always cleaned our toilet blocks 4 times a day, this will continue with extra measures such as sanitising of taps, handles etc. The facilities will be closed in rotation from 1-3pm each day for extra deep cleaning. There will always be a toilet available for use on site during this time.
- Please leave the facilities and your pitch as you would wish to find them, please pick up all rubbish/tissues etc and help us keep a clean site for everyone.
- Please depart by 2pm, arrivals midday to 8pm. No late arrivals.
- Please purchase as many logs as you can reasonably expect to use whilst on site, to help reduce contact with staff and free up more time for the extensive cleaning we have to undertake this year.
- Many local attractions will need booking in advance e.g. National Trust, Monkey World, The Tank Museum, some car parks like Durdle Door/Lulworth Cove, restaurants and pubs. Please plan ahead to ensure you enjoy your holiday.
- If you have any Covid symptoms such as high temperature, a new cough or feel at all ill, please do not come. Similarly, if you begin to feel ill whilst on holiday please self-isolate and return home immediately.
